Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 1, 2025  ·  Last updated: June 22, 2025

Short version: BeaPrice collects your email address to sign you in and tracks basic usage (searches per day) to enforce plan limits. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure services that run BeaPrice. You can delete your account any time by emailing us.

1. Who we are

BeaPrice ("BeaPrice", "we", "us", or "our") is operated by Raheel Mumtaz, a sole proprietor based in Pakistan, and is a web-based SaaS tool that compares Print-on-Demand (POD) product prices across multiple platforms, including Printify, Printful, Gelato, and others. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website and service at beaprice.com.

If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at privacy@beaprice.com.

2. What information we collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to provide and improve BeaPrice.

Information you provide directly:

  • Email address — collected when you sign in via magic link. This is the only personally identifiable information we require.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data — the number of searches you perform per day, which plan tier you are on, and which marketplaces you query. This is used solely to enforce plan limits.
  • Search queries — the product terms you search (e.g. "custom hoodie") may be logged temporarily for performance and abuse prevention. We do not associate search queries with your identity beyond what is needed for rate limiting.
  • Basic technical data — your browser type, approximate geographic region (country level), and access timestamps, collected via standard server logs. We do not track precise location.

Information we do NOT collect:

  • Payment card details — all payments are handled by our payment processor (Paddle or Lemon Squeezy) and never pass through our servers.
  • Full name, phone number, or postal address.
  • Any information about the products you sell on POD platforms.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Authentication — to send you a magic link and keep you signed in across sessions.
  • Plan enforcement — to count daily searches and enforce limits for Free, Basic, and Pro plan tiers.
  • Service communication — to send you transactional emails such as sign-in links, billing receipts, or important service notices. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.
  • Improving the service — to understand which features are used and fix bugs. We use aggregated, anonymised data for this purpose.
  • Security and abuse prevention — to detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive use of BeaPrice.

We do not use your data to serve advertising, build behavioural profiles, or train machine-learning models.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Infrastructure providers — we use third-party services to host BeaPrice and send emails (e.g. cloud hosting, transactional email providers). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
  • Payment processor — when you upgrade to a paid plan, your billing information is handled entirely by our payment processor (Paddle or Lemon Squeezy). We receive only a confirmation of payment status and your plan level. We never see your card details.
  • Legal requirements — we may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process (e.g. a court order), and only to the extent required.
  • Business transfer — if BeaPrice is acquired or merges with another entity, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email before that happens and give you the option to delete your account.

5. Cookies and local storage

BeaPrice uses minimal browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences:

  • Authentication token — stored in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in between sessions. This token is invalidated when you sign out.
  • Preference data — your selected country filters and UI settings may be saved in local storage for convenience. This data never leaves your device.

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.

Because we do not serve advertising or tracking cookies, a cookie consent banner is not required for our core service. If we add any optional analytics in future, we will update this section and obtain your consent first.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data (email address, plan tier, usage history) for as long as your account is active.

Daily usage counters (search counts) are reset at UTC midnight and older counters are purged after 30 days.

Server logs containing technical data are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes, then automatically deleted.

If you delete your account, we permanently delete your email address and associated usage data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal or tax compliance reasons.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your account and personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to certain types of processing, such as any future direct marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@beaprice.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction. These include:

  • HTTPS encryption on all connections to BeaPrice.
  • Passwordless authentication (magic links) — no passwords to steal or guess.
  • Access controls limiting who on our team can access user data.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at security@beaprice.com.

9. Children's privacy

BeaPrice is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under these ages. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email (to the address on your account) and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of BeaPrice after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy. If you do not agree, you may delete your account at any time.
